About the Artist
The artist, Jon Gersbach, has had a love for
creating unique and one of a kind items from
wood and metal for many years.  At the age of
12, he created his first woodworking project for
his mom for Mother's Day.  Since then many
items of various uses have been made.

During college at Texas A&M University, Jon
created signs for friends from plow discs using
a oxyacetylene cutting torch and ventured into
making hand bent steak branding irons.  His
love for working with metal came from an
influence from his grandpa who worked as a
ornamental metal fabricator and welder in
addition to farming.  These skills and methods
were imparted through him, and continue
today.

Jon graduated from Texas A&M University in
May 2001 with a Bachelors of Science in
Animal Science and in August 2002 with a
Masters of Science in Agricultural Education.
He has been extremely involved with his alma
matter and his community. He is currently
Past-President and Scholarship Chair of the
Greater Temple A&M Club, Member of the
Cameron Noon Lions Club, Ducks Unlimited
Central Texas Chapter, and SPJST.
Jon also has a love for hunting dogs,
especially Labrador Retrievers.

Jon welcomes you to browse the site, and let
him know if there is anything that you need.
He'll be more than happy to fix you up.
